To Milena's Guardian

Jacinto,
The journey.

A tale of hearts,
A mound of shards,
And a mile of smiles
Thereafter.

First blood! I sniped the S.O.B.
My foe, he seemed to be—
Illusion. Emerged the real,
He sealed the deal
And zapped my entire life.

Paraluman, his vision.
Eternal dance, his mission.
She danced only in dreams,
Which melted. The broken soul
Felt it! Yet we clung
To heaven as if drugged.

Then the angel came—
A song of my acclaim.
Warmth to tiger; chill, maroon.
Too soon burned the flame
And embers engulfed the embittered.

Alas! Left, Helen.
Passion died or transported?
Certain: the Spartan's cry was heeded.
I fulfilled the oath;
Our comradeship proceeded.

Then...said Heartbreak Kid: Arise!
Win the heart advertised!
Strangers, close friends—
Their destinies unified;
And her love, the richest prize.

So let the pigs fly!
May your story gain heights
And be blessed from on high.
And Jude, the bamboo said it.
"You got the stuff...
You only have to use it."

From saga and Goldberg...
Our walk with you: eternity.
